The Warren-Waukegan Fire Protection District will present the Gurnee Fire Department with a new state-of-the-art customized fire engine and Advanced Life Support ambulance on September 27, 2012.

“With careful strategic planning and fiscally prudent operations, we have abolished ambulance fees for our residents and lowered their tax burden to the district while purchasing three new, state-of-the-art, life safety vehicles; two ambulances and a fire engine,” said WWFPD President, Phil DeRuntz. The Fire District previously donated an Advanced Life Support Ambulance in February 2011.
